Daughters of the Moon is the kind of horror script that constantly evolves and surprises the reader. What begins as a gothic fairy tale about two sisters trapped in an isolated Victorian home slowly unravels into a paranoid conspiracy thriller, a creature feature, and ultimately an emotional family epic wrapped in werewolf mythology. Act I
Twin sisters Cora and Catrina have spent their entire lives trapped inside a secluded Victorian home under the strict supervision of Abraham, the man they believe to be their father. Raised to fear a monstrous creature known only as “The Wolf,” the girls are told the outside world is deadly and that they are destined to participate in a sacred ceremony tied to the moon. While obedient Catrina embraces the lavish gifts and rituals of the mysterious cult surrounding them, rebellious Cora grows increasingly suspicious of the lies and contradictions within their isolated world. When she finally escapes the house, Cora discovers the horrifying truth: her home is actually an elaborate prison built inside a massive warehouse compound, and the world she feared was manufactured to control her. Pursued by the cult through the streets of Los Angeles, Cora encounters the real Wolf, only to discover that she herself transforms into one beneath the moonlight.
Act II
After her violent transformation, Cora awakens in the care of Simon, a rogue werewolf who reveals himself to be her true father. Simon exposes the Cult of the Moon’s true intentions: they have imprisoned and manipulated Cora and Catrina for years in an effort to harness the supernatural power in their bloodline. As the cult prepares to move forward with the ceremony without her, Cora struggles to accept her identity as a werewolf while Simon trains her to control her powers and resist the animalistic urge to kill. Together they evade relentless hunters armed with experimental anti-werewolf weaponry and race against time to rescue Catrina before the cult completes its ritual. Meanwhile, back at the compound, Catrina begins to question the reality Abraham has built around her as cracks form in the carefully constructed illusion she once trusted completely.
Act III
On the eve of the ceremony, Cora and Simon launch an assault on the cult compound to save Catrina and destroy Abraham’s plans once and for all. Captured and dragged into the ritual chamber beneath the house, the truth about the sisters’ family, their mother, and the cult’s obsession with werewolf blood is finally revealed. As moonlight floods the chamber, Catrina undergoes her own terrifying transformation and realizes Cora has been telling the truth all along. The ceremony erupts into a savage werewolf battle between the cult and the reunited family. In the chaos, Cora and Catrina embrace their true identities, turning against Abraham and bringing the compound crashing down around him.
