SUMMARY

Daughters of the Moon is a dark fantasy horror thriller that twists the mythology of werewolves into a story about control, fear, and identity. Raised in total isolation by the stern and protective Abraham, sisters Cora and Catrina have spent their entire lives inside a carefully constructed Victorian home, taught that the outside world is overrun by a monstrous creature known only as “The Wolf.” Every lesson, every ritual, and every rule in their sheltered existence revolves around surviving the beast and preparing for a mysterious ceremony tied to the phases of the moon.

As Cora grows older, her curiosity about the outside world begins to outweigh her fear. Strange inconsistencies in the stories she has been told slowly unravel the truth surrounding her upbringing, leading her to discover that the home she believed protected her is actually part of an elaborate manufactured prison. Beyond its walls lies a decaying modern city, a manipulative cult obsessed with harnessing supernatural power, and a terrifying secret buried within her own bloodline.

Blending gothic horror, psychological suspense, creature-feature brutality, and dystopian conspiracy, Daughters of the Moon explores the dangers of blind obedience and the lengths people will go to control the unknown. At its core, the film is a coming-of-age nightmare about two sisters raised on lies, forced to confront the monstrous truth about their family, their captors, and themselves. With visceral transformations, haunting mythology, and an emotionally driven central mystery, the script combines the atmosphere of classic gothic horror with the intensity and scale of modern genre filmmaking.
