STORY
Undead on Arrival is a relentless horror thriller that traps two EMTs in a fight for survival with a reanimated corpse and sinister cultists. As rookie Casey and seasoned Marcus face supernatural terror, their journey becomes a test of courage, trust, and redemption. The story explores the clash between instinct and intellect, pushing both characters to confront their deepest fears and personal demons in a brutal, claustrophobic struggle that blurs the line between survival and sacrifice.
ACT 1
In Undead on Arrival, rookie EMT Casey and his experienced partner Marcus are speeding through the night in Marcu's suped up custom ambulance, MONIQUE, transporting a lifeless patient. Casey is young, idealistic, and driven by textbook knowledge, while Marcus, a seasoned EMT, relies on gut instinct and his gritty experience. Tension simmers between them, with Marcus’s tough-love approach challenging Casey’s medical know-how and fear of failure. As the two navigate their tense relationship, the patient suddenly reanimates, defying all medical explanation. She snarls and thrashes against her restraints, and Casey and Marcus are thrown into a panicked struggle to keep her contained. In the chaos, Marcus loses control of the ambulance, crashing it in a desolate stretch of woods. With their vehicle overturned and the “dead” refusing to play her part, Casey and Marcus realize they are fighting something far beyond the realm of medicine or logic. Marcus suffers a life threatening injury in the crash and his leg has become pinned. If he is to survive the night Marcus knows he will have to say goodby to his leg before the night is over.
ACT 2
As the two scramble for survival battling the "deadweight", they use all the tools at their disposal to try and escape. Before long however they discover that they have visitors...shadowy figures outside the ambulance—Victor and Red—are cultists who seem to be responsible for the resurrection. With weapons and ritualistic chants, the cultists surround the vehicle, determined to prevent Casey and Marcus from escaping. Inside the ambulance, the undead patient becomes increasingly aggressive, even tormenting them by mimicking the voices of their loved ones. Casey’s courage is tested as he recalls his mother’s words mocking him, while Marcus, wounded and trapped in the front of the vehicle, begins to feel the weight of his guilt over his daughter Kaliyah’s illness. Just as they’re barely managing to keep the patient restrained, Marcus realizes that his own injuries are worse than he thought; his leg is bleeding heavily, and he risks bleeding out unless he takes drastic action.
ACT 3
In an excruciating moment, Marcus instructs Casey to amputate his leg to prevent further blood loss. Though horrified, Casey ultimately gathers the courage to follow through, using a bone saw to cut through Marcus’s leg in a harrowing, visceral scene that tests his endurance and commitment. Marcus, teetering on the edge of consciousness, tries to guide Casey as best he can, both of them knowing they have little time left. Once the amputation is complete, they are left battered and weakened, but still fighting to survive as the cultists intensify their chants and flames encircle the ambulance.

In the final act, with Marcus immobilized and both men psychologically frayed, Casey faces a choice: succumb to the terror or push through and confront the monstrous patient head-on. Realizing they have no other option, Casey and Marcus devise a last-ditch effort to kill the reanimated patient, but the cultists outside, in a fevered state, raise the stakes, calling upon dark forces to finish the ritual. The deadweight evolves releasing a demon creature who's threat reaches far beyond the crashed ambulance. Exhausted, bloodied, and mentally scarred, Casey and Marcus brace for one final confrontation.

Marcus knows that he has to survive for his daughter to live leaving Casey to fight the demon and the cultists. When all seams lost Marcus returns and rescues Casey at the last moment. Destroying Monique and the demon in one heroic moment.

As Marcus and Casey ride off into the sunrise we are left with one last moment to show that the evil is not quite vanquished.
